We need foster homes

Well, we aren’t even officially open, but already I’m getting calls about dogs in need. And in rescue there isn’t any greater need than a place for dogs to lie their head down. Somewhere that they will fee safe and warm and loved, sometimes for the first time in their lives. And rottie’s can be hard dogs to find places for. They are big and black and very few people really understand their nature.
Rotties are for the most part, people dogs. They want to be in the house or where ever you are at the moment. They are also a dog that needs leadership. Without it, they will try to take that role on themselves. With firm, loving direction they can make the most wonderful house guest.
So what do we need from our foster homes……. A warm safe place that will feed appropriate food, a rug or a bed inside, the ability to show fair leadership, and most of all, a place where the dog is part of the family.
We will supply the vet care, home support, and encouragement. We will work our hardest to find the right home for every dog. We will provide training if necessary to make the adjustments. In short we will do everything we can to help you.
If you think that you might be able to help us help a rott in need, please contact me at
snooksbc@hotmail.com. Lives depend on us all doing our part.
